Adaptation for the screen: Charlotte Perkins Gilman's "The Yellow Wallpaper" Originally published as a short story in 1892, it was regarded as an early work of feminism. I am adapting The Yellow Wallpaper in the form of a short film script, retaining its messages surrounding female mental health, patriarchal ideologies and feminism in a more contemporary setting.
